Solebox can now add Asics to their list of sneaker companies they have collabed with. Solebox and Asics teamed up to bring you this interesting shoe. The grey with the purple accents sets off the shoe well, but something subtle that you might not have caught is that in the design they used light sensitive material on the Ascis graphic and part of the sole the sole changes color, but sadly there has not been a set released date, but bet we'll keep you posted!

If you haven't already seen them then here you go! This is Kanye's new shoe with Nike. Everyone is calling them the Nike Air Yeezy! Kind of cheesy (sorry I know it rhymed), but the shoe does look pretty impressive, definitely a colorful shoe with a couple of different type of textures. There's premium leather, perforated leather, and patent leather on the shoe, and word has just came out that the soles of the shoe and the Nike Swoosh glow in the dark. Seems kind of fitting since Kanye is on his Glow in the Dark tour. More info will be released with time, but for now check of the shoes:

The black and silver is a nice touch, even though it would have been nice to seen the white/blue, that Jordan wore during career with the Wizards. Unlike the when they first came out with the black, this black is black nubuck. So you won't have to worry about getting ungodly creases in your shoes, like previously.

The first look of the 17/6 package is one many people have never seen. Many thought JB might release the infrareds, which would have been a blessing, but they have decided to go with the Carmines. Unless you remember these from back in 1991, there are not to many people out there who know about these ones. Although I would have liked to seen the Infrareds, I am not complaining about these. The colorway is great, I like the white, red, and black look on these (and I was worried about all the countdowns being released in Black, red, and white). Nike Air Max 97 Lux 3M

Five years ago, Nike released a Lux line of retro products that were less than a mortgage payment per pair. The initial lineup featured the Air Force 1 high, Air Trainer SC, and Air Max 95 in a solid black color up dressed in fine Italian leather. Since the initial Lux release, Nike has made several releases of the Air Force Ones, but the Air Max has not seen the same love until now.

It’s no secret that Fortune 500 companies are recognizing the size and purchasing power of the sneaker culture. The latest major company to recognize the sneaker community is AT&T. For those of you who were watching “Super Bowl 41.5″ would have seen the debut of the new commercial titled “Kicks.”

The commercial follows a sneakerhead from his apartment in Tuscaloosa, AL to his favorite spots such at Alife NYC, UNDFTD in LA, Motive807 in Austin, and finally Solebox in Berlin. Director Chris Robinson took such detail into perfectly recreating each store and even had a well placed cameo of DJ Ben Baller in line outside of his favorite sneaker store UNDFTD. Some sneaker gems placed in the commercial were from the links of Nike, Jordan, Adidas, Vans, and Greedy Genius

From what we have heard, keep your eyes open for more commercials recognizing sneaker culture in the coming months.

There is something else people need to say "No" to besides drug, and that has to be fakes! This shirt is part of a Jordan campaign against bootleg sneakers.

These two shirts simply state “Say No To Fakes” and have “B True” written on the back which is the name of a Jordan Team model from a while back. On the long sleeve version, there is an addition bit that reads “Would MJ Wear Fakes?”. Personally, I still think that Prestigious’ “Stop Rocking Fake Shit!” shirt has been the best anti-fake shirt, but it is nice to see that JB is acknowledging the problem.

Having sneakerheads in the US and Europe making a mad dash for those shoes, but unlike last year, this year the Horror pack will drop everywhere. Plus they share the same color scheme as the Day of the Dead dunks, so you won't feel like an idiot when trying to wear them any other day beside Halloween. Reebok Chucky Ventilator

Halloween edition kicks this year seem to be stepping out the the normal orange and black we have seen for several years. This year Reebok is going to release several pairs of Halloween edition shoes to the market that were inspired by different characters from horror flicks. Here is a preview of the first pair to be released with in the next couple of weeks.

One of the most creative pairs from this line-up is the “Chucky” Reebok Ventilators. The Ventilator is a great shoe to rework because of its many panels and pieces on the upper, but Reebok didn’t stop there. They created the lining of the shoe to match Chucky’s infamous striped sweater as well as a completed the theme with the insole. Thanks to nice kicks for the update.

Next year, Jordan Brand and Air Force 1 are doing an official collaboration that blends the iconic Air Jordans with the timeless Air Force 1. Last year we saw a series of “Jordan Dunks” where Nike cooked up the Dunk Low in colors and styles that were inspired by Air Jordans, but these sneakers are an official collab.
